Commission FAQ
Want to know more about how it works before submitting a form?
Here’s how I handle the process so you always feel included and informed while your artwork comes to life.
-
Simply fill out the commission form or send me a message with your idea. Please include details such as:
What type of artwork you’d like (illustration, emote, banner, etc.)
A short description or references (if you have them)
Your preferred deadline or timeframe
Once I review your request, I’ll send a price quote and confirm all the details before starting.
-
Here’s a simple overview of what happens after you request a commission:
Inquiry & Quote: You share your idea, and I provide a price, timeline, and any clarifying questions.
Confirmation & Payment: Once we agree on everything, you’ll send payment to secure your spot.
Sketch Phase: I’ll send a rough sketch or layout for approval — this is your chance to suggest changes.
Progress Updates: I’ll share updates as the piece develops so you can see it come to life.
Final Delivery: Once complete, I’ll send the high-resolution files in your preferred format (usually PNG or JPEG). PSD or transparent versions are available if requested.
-
I include a few small revisions throughout the process (especially during the sketch and coloring stages) to make sure everything matches your vision. Larger changes after final approval may have an additional fee.
-
That depends on the size and detail of the artwork.
Emotes & icons: about 3–5 days
Portraits or detailed pieces: about 1–2 weeks
Full illustrations or book covers: about 2–4 weeks
If you have a deadline in mind, please mention it when you order — I’ll let you know if I can accommodate it.
-
I accept payments through PayPal, Stripe, or Shopify. A deposit or full payment is usually required before work begins.
-
Because all commissions are custom-made, refunds are only available before I begin the artwork. Once work has started, I can’t offer refunds, but I’ll always communicate clearly and provide previews to make sure you’re happy with the result.
-
Yes! I believe art should be a collaboration. You’ll receive progress updates at key stages (sketch, color, and finishing) and can request small adjustments along the way.
-
Definitely! Once you receive your finished piece, you’re welcome to post it wherever you like — I just ask that you credit me as the artist when sharing it publicly.
-
You own the personal-use rights to your commissioned art. That means you can use it on your profiles, in videos, or as personal display. However, I retain the copyright and may showcase the piece in my portfolio or social media (unless you request otherwise). For commercial use, a separate license can be arranged.
-
I’m happy to make small touch-ups, but major edits after completion may require a small additional fee. Always reach out — I want you to love your art!
